General information about your department or programme:
History: Our department/division started education in 2015.
Programme Outcomes of the Department:
- Planning, organisation, management, coordination, regulation and supervision
- Communication, interaction and co-operation with the close and distant environment of the enterprise
- Managing, organising and auditing the financial structure of the institution
- Necessary knowledge of law in business activities
- To acquire the knowledge and skills that will enable them to be successful in the public and private sectors
- To be able to act with the awareness of moral values and professional responsibility
Language / Type of Education: The language of education of the programme is Turkish and the type of education is formal education. Our programme is also intended for international students.
Infrastructure Facilities: There are many physical facilities offered to students by the department. Infrastructure facilities such as computer laboratories, reading rooms, photocopy/scanner are available to support education and research activities.

Double Major / Minor Programs
Double Major Program: Allows students to earn a bachelor's degree in a field they are interested in, in addition to their primary field. In this program, students can complete courses in two different fields and earn a diploma in both fields.
Minor Program: Allows students to take a certain number of courses in a field they are interested in, outside of their major. Students who complete the minor program are given an official certificate in that field; however, this does not mean a second undergraduate degree.

Exchange Programs
It offers students the opportunity to study at another university, either domestically or abroad, for a certain period of time. Thanks to these programs, students have the opportunity to learn about different cultures, develop their foreign language skills and gain international academic experience. The most common exchange programs include programs such as Erasmus+, Mevlana and Farabi.

Career
Purpose / Objectives of the Department / Program: The Department of Commercial Law examines research topics such as commercial enterprises, elements of commercial enterprises, legal transactions related to commercial enterprises, commercial work, commercial jurisdiction, company law, classification of companies, and negotiable instruments law.
Current Status and Future of the Department/Program: The department-specific Commercial Law course, the Law of Obligations course, which is closely related to Commercial Law, and various Accounting courses dealing with Negotiable Instruments and Commercial Companies are offered. Our students are encouraged to conduct research in relevant courses and are prepared for the business world with an interactive education-training method.
Professions Under the Field: There are many job opportunities that graduates can have in the public and private sectors. Administrative Judgeship is one of them.
