History: Our department/branch started education in 2015.
Department Program Outcomes:
- Improvement of the product and increase of production
- Ability to use scarce resources effectively and efficiently
- Planning, organizing, managing, coordinating, regulating and controlling
- Communication, interaction and collaboration with the near and far environment of the business
- Using numerical and statistical data effectively
Language of Instruction / Type: The language of instruction of the program is Turkish and the type of instruction is formal education. Our program is also aimed at international students.
Infrastructure Facilities: The department offers many physical facilities to students. There are infrastructure facilities that support education and research activities such as computer laboratories, reading rooms, photocopiers/scanners.
The aim of the department of production management and marketing is to provide advanced knowledge in the field of production and marketing and other disciplines related to this field. Our students can have knowledge of the literature related to the field and can gain the ability to evaluate, question and interpret information in the field of production and marketing.
Throughout the academic year, our students are given courses such as marketing principles, marketing management, production operations management, marketing planning, and operations management, the contents of which are constantly revised within the framework of current conditions, and their scientific infrastructure is established at the undergraduate level. They can also take elective courses such as production planning and control, marketing communication, supply chain management, and current marketing approaches. As a result of these courses, students gain knowledge about making decisions regarding the planning, establishment, supervision, and improvement of production systems, learn marketing-related concepts, follow current marketing issues, and come up with creative marketing ideas.

Double Major/Minor Programs
Double Major Program: Allows students to earn a bachelor's degree in a field they are interested in, in addition to their primary field. In this program, students can complete courses in two different fields and earn a diploma in both fields.
Minor Program: Allows students to take a certain number of courses in a field they are interested in, outside of their major. Students who complete the minor program are given an official certificate in that field; however, this does not mean a second undergraduate degree.

Exchange Programs
It offers students the opportunity to study at another university, either domestically or abroad, for a certain period of time. Thanks to these programs, students have the opportunity to learn about different cultures, develop their foreign language skills and gain international academic experience. The most common exchange programs include programs such as Erasmus+, Mevlana and Farabi.

Career
Goals of the Department / Program: Our graduates gain the ability to interpret the information they have acquired in the field of business by integrating it with information from different disciplinary fields, to comprehend the interaction between disciplines, to use the skills they have acquired in interdisciplinary studies and to produce new information. Graduates of our department are preparing to take their places as potential managers of the business world.
Current Status and Future of the Department / Program: Courses specific to the department are offered such as Production Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Total Quality Management. Our students are encouraged to conduct research in relevant courses and are prepared for the business world with an interactive education-training method.
Professions Under the Field: Our graduates will be able to work in production, marketing, purchasing departments of industrial organizations and in various positions in logistics companies.
Employment Opportunities: There are wide employment opportunities for graduates. They have the opportunity to work in different sectors such as production, human resources, foreign trade, marketing, accounting, and auditing.
